Hernandez Family Portraits- Eugene, Oregon

Marcus and Laura Hernandez are a down to earth and loving couple working together to raise their beautiful six children. They defiintiely have their hands full, but I think both of them would agree there is not a greater joy known. I had the opportunity to spend an evening with them all at Hendricks Park in Eugene, Oregon, playing with the kids and taking alot of photographs. It was a blast, and I'm pretty happy with some of the images that we were able to capture. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

6 Month Session With Little Trent

I spent a couple hours in the beautiful Kelso, Washington area with little Trent and his parents, Stephanie and CJ. Trent is such a happy little boy, but with such a serious side to him as well. He was so content throughout the whole photo shoot, through several different poses indoors and outside and through multiple clothing changes. I was very impressed with how well he did in front of the camera! He's got such intense and big blue eyes!

 

How can I even call it work when I get to hang out with such a cool little boy? I truely love what I do!

This photo session is the first of four that will follow little Trent through his first 15 months. I look forward to spending another couple hours with him and his family in November when he is 9 months old! I see pumpkins and hay bales in the future, and maybe even a scarecrow.

Photographing Children

I love photographing people of all ages, but I especially enjoy working with children. They are so free and full of life, and you never really know what they'll do. As a photographer, you have to be on your toes, always watching because they will surprise you every turn. It can be a challenge, because babies don't sit still! They do what they want, regardless of the eye behind the camera. But this can also be magical, as I think sometime the best images come from those candid moments that you just can't plan for.

Some of my favorite subjects will always be my children. I have four boys, two teengagers and two little ones. The two older ones are used to their dad behind the lens, and the two little ones still think my camera is a toy. I will always enjoy photographing them and capturing images of their life as they grow. I still think its the best part of my job!

Baby Conner Newborn Session

I had the honor to photograph little baby Conner a couple weeks ago. He's defintely full of personality and his parents are very proud! I had a blast, and hope I get to photograph him again as he gets a little bigger.
